Fish Friday 10 September 2021
Hello Fabulous Folk, Welcome to Fish Friday 10 September.
We hope you've been enjoying the sun if not caught up with the end of the harvest ... What a Scorcher! It may not be the summer of '76 but what a great way to start autumn though not if you've gone back to school.
We've also been thrilled this week when our very own honey arrived. Blake's Bees in the new trees and wild flower meadow/patch over the hedge, have made really excellent honey; we weren't expecting any until next year!
Tomorow and this weekend the sun seems to have driven away our stars: the delightful Ed is holding the fishy fort at A Passion For Seafood, while Mike is at the Ludlow Food Festival, tickets have sold out so you are far better off coming to Grange Farm. The Queens of Ice Cream and flowers are at weddings and parties but you will find Drowsy Bee's gorgeous bouquets in the shop as well as Simply (wonderful) Ice Cream. Absences aside Grange Farm is full steam ahead with everyone open and flourishing as normal.
Looking into the crystal ball here are some dates for your diaries:
- I have bad news for the sheep as we will have Hogget available in late October - dates TBC.
- On Friday 29th October on the meadow we will have A Love Letter to Bealings, historian Norman Porter will talk about his latest book.
- Sunday 19th September sees the coffee festival for Macmillan in the Barn Cafe 10am to 2pm.
And so to the fish. As ever please email to add to your order and we can keep them in the chiller for later if you can't make it in time.
