Put simply, this means I sow, grow, and harvest British flowers within their natural season of bloom, without chemicals or harmful practices, and only those flowers which love my soil and location. I grow for wildlife as well as beauty, and this amongst other things means growing masses of different varieties. My flowers are a constantly shifting palette of shape, colour, texture and scent. Because I gather from my own garden, I’m able to provide more delicate, ephemeral varieties that you won’t find from the supermarket or wholesaler, and I often prefer the characterful, unruly imperfections of ‘naturally’ grown flowers.
