Ramble of the Week, Food in the Yard & Fish in Fram, 7th June

Dear Wonderful People,

How are you? How has this week been? It has been so poignant to see those marvellous D-Day veterans and then being prompted to learn the stories of other families. In amongst the seemingly white knuckle ride of the daily bedlam of our modern lives hearing the words of those humble veterans is, for me at any rate, a balm that both puts my panic in perspective and allows a moment to remember the importance of the fight to maintain civilisation.

Nevertheless the daily bedlam has nonetheless delayed this missive once again… So here with a blow by blow:

Tomorrow, Sat 8th 11 to 3pm in they yard, Rambling Roots will be serving deliciously healthy plant based food.

In other rambling news, Ellie’s brother Louie has slashed back the overgrowth of our own ramble that takes you to the Bealings Road and onto a Green Lane back to Woodbridge or Martlesham Creek via Seckford Hall. See our social media for a here’s how we rambled it!

Blake’s Bees have yielded their first new season spring honey… The best Hasketon Honey pure and crammed with goodness: totally untreated, unheated and runny straight from hive to jar. Well worth the few stings we’ve all had.

It’s Hannah and tongs (sorry folks) in the Grange Farm Kitchen, every day new morsels of delight appear. Come and try and please let us know what you think. The delight pie buying this afternoon brought to a food loving friend was a serious pleasure to behold.

Sat and Sun 12-5pm A Passion for Seafood is cooking up a feast at the Station in Framlingham. Which means no Mike at GF tomorrow and the Shop’s supply of Pinney’s might well be plundered earlier than usual.

So without further delay, it’s time to wish all you wonderful people a fabulous weekend.

Stay safe and we look forwards to welcoming you to your favourite foodie haven.

Masses of love,

Will and the GF Shopstars
